NOTE: DOES NOT ENABLE DOWNLOADS FROM THE STEM PLAYER SITE. FOR THAT, PLEASE USE THIS PROJECT

(i believe that's the numbers they download from the site)

Known issues

  • Keybinds don't work on Mac. See issue #2

    When merging the Stems, it seems that the Logic is turning 4 24bit source files into a 32bit file. I dont see how that would be possible without something weird going on. Furthermore V1.4 worked for me yesterday but today it didn't work anymore, even after reinstalling.   • Keybinds don't work on MacOS.

    Keybinds don't work on MacOS.

    This is a known issue caused by MacOS itself.
    The author of the keyboard library used states it here.

    Unfortunately the only solution is to run the program as root.
    I do have this project open source for a reason, so people can see what's running on their computer. I'll try and implement a "run as root" function or something like that sooner or later, but for now if you truly want keybinds on MacOS,

    • Open Terminal
    • type sudo /path/to/stemplayerplayer/stemplayerplayer.app/Contents/MacOS/stemplayerplayer and press enter
    • follow system dialogs to allow stemplayerplayer/terminal access.

    OR

    • Open Terminal
    • type sudo with a space but do NOT press enter
    • drag and drop stemplayerplayer application onto terminal
    • follow above to finish out the command
