解决邮件客户端QQ Mail及Thunderbird无法登入Outlook的问题

最近无论是安卓手机的邮件客户端, 或者是 Ubuntu 下的 Thunderbird 都无法登入 Outlook 账号, 原因是需要开启双因素验证. 这个在 Outlook 界面上是不能直接设置的, 需要通过微软账号去开启

Enable Microsoft Outlook 2-factor-login

  1. 访问https://account.microsoft.com/security?lang=en-US
  2. 点击 Advanced security options Get Started
  3. 在 Additional security, Two-step verification 点击 Turn on
  4. 会需要记一个recovery code, 不确定用在什么场合, 需要记一下, Next
  5. 显示 Android, iOS 这些手机系统邮箱使用的密码, 如果用到的需要记一下
Open the mail app on your phone.
Tap Menu, and then tap Settings.
Tap your Microsoft account.
Tap Incoming settings (under Server settings).
Replace your password with the following app password:
kduek123123123123ovn <-- 密码
Tap Done.
  1. 回到 https://account.microsoft.com/security?lang=en-US
  2. 在 App passwords 下, 点击 Create a new app password, 这时候会生成一个密码, 这个密码可以用于Thunderbird
  3. 如果有多个应用, 可以多次创建
